On Sunday January 20th, 2013 a group of members visited Wat Tampa. This is a beautiful location on the Palm River in Tampa and each Sunday they serve all kinds of Thai food and welcome guests to sit at the picnic tables along the river to eat and share friendship. We were lucky that on the day we attended the head Monk was celebrating his birthday so we got to see his party, authentic Thai Dancing and enjoy free food and birthday cake. Here are just a few of the many photos taken. This is as close as you can get to visiting Thailand without getting on a plane.
