Florida Botanical Gardens

An excellent spring day was a reward for a few of the club members taking in the Botanical Gardens in Largo, Florida on Friday May 16th. Most flora’s were in full bloom  and the opportunities were endless with a wide variety of colors and arrangements. The Gardens were not crowded and even with that advantage we still spent better than two and a half hours getting our award winning images. This was a marked difference compared to number of years ago. We experienced  a worse than you can imagine day after a dramatic cold wave hit a few days before. Heritage Park is adjacent to the Garden’s but there was insufficient time to include that site…….so it appears that another trip to the Park will need to be scheduled at some future date. All in all, and as usual, it was a great day for ”picture taking” and that  many more shall accompany us on the next trip to where ever.
