The Chasco Camera Club held its 15th Annual Scavenger Photo Hunt on March 30th, at the New Port Richey Fiesta. We were given two hours between 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to find and shoot the following six categories: “Red”, “Jewelry”, “Food”, “Feather or Feathers”, "Something Nautical” and “Your Choice”. Each member was able to take a total of 24 photos to be divided among the categories as they chose. The scavenger hunt was an exercise in not only finding the subject material but also making sure the photo was shot correctly in the camera. The members were not allowed to alter their photos in any way except to resize them for submission.
On April the 6th, the members had a luncheon at Nikos Restaurant in New Port Richey to review and vote on the submitted scavenger hunt photos. Here are the photos that won in each category, click on image to enlarge:
